**Follow instructions carefully to get your Size (I – V) and Length (Regular or Long).

Step 1. Hand Circumference measurements

Take the four circumference measurements: cA, cB, cC and cC1 (instructions below), circling each size range (I-V) in the worksheet table.

cA: Circumference around base of fingers

Measure without tension. Take the circumference measurement with back of the hand facing upwards. Place the palm firmly on a hard flat surface with the fingers slightly splayed. Pass your measuring tape around the joints at the base of the fingers. Circle your size range in the cA row of the worksheet size chart.

cB: Circumference around hand at base of thumb

Take the circumference measurement with back of the hand facing upwards. Place the palm firmly on a hard flat surface with the fingers slightly splayed. Pass your measuring tape around the middle of the hand at the web of the thumb. Do not pull tightly on the tape. Circle your size range in the cB row of the worksheet size chart.

 cC: Circumference Wrist

Measure without tension on the tape, over the styloid bone. For swelling, never measure in a skin fold or a fold around the joint. Rather, take the tape to the side of the skin fold for a wider measurement to ensure there is no constriction at the wrist, which can cause hand swelling. Circle your size range in the cC row of the worksheet size chart.

cC1: Circumference at point situated approximately 5-7cm above the Wrist

Measure without tension on the tape. C1 is where the muscle bulk begins in the forearm. Circle your size range in the cC1 row of the worksheet size chart.

Step 2:  Finger Circumference measurements

Measure without tension (do not pull on the tape). Ideally you will use a narrow tape measure made especially for fingers and toes. Check that you fall within the standard size range in the Circumference/Fingers table, page 1 of the worksheet.

Step 3:  Finger Length measurements

Take the length from the web (X) to the nail bed (Z) on the palm side of the hand. To make this easier, you can mark where the nail bed is on the palm side of each finger before measuring (above right image). Check that you fall within the standard size range in the Length/Fingers table, page 1 of the worksheet.

Step 4:  Hand Part Length measurements

Length - Hand Part (lA-B):  Find point A, located slightly below the base crease of the middle finger. (Above image.)

Now find point B, located mid-palm, at the level of the web of the thumb. (Above image.)

Measure from point A to point B in a straight line to get your (lAB) measurement. The measurement should fall within the AB range in the Length/Hand Part table of the worksheet (3.5cm - 4.5cm).

Length - Hand Part (lA-C):

Measure from point A to point C in a straight line to get your (lAC) measurement. Check that you fall within the standard size range AC in the Length/Hand Part table (10cm – 12cm).

Length - Hand Part (lA-C1):

Measure from point A to point C1 in a straight line to get your (lAC1) measurement. Check that you fall within the standard size range AC1 in the Length/Hand Part table of the worksheet (15cm – 16cm).

Review Measurement Tables:

*In the worksheet, check all four tables to determine your glove size (I – V).

Check-List for a Successful Order:

IMPORTANT TIPS ON MEASURING FOR COMPRESSION GLOVES:

The best time to measure circumferences for compression gloves is when your limbs are at their smallest or 'emptiest', usually first thing in the morning, before gravity has had a chance to work against you.

Remember that a good fit is pivotal to effective and comfortable compression, so double-check your measurements and ensure that you have followed the tips provided in this guide.
